Beginning Salutation
- Step out to your left into a meditating horse stance.
- Close into an attention stance.
- Step out to your left, legs straight and shoulder width apart and punch down with both hands together towards the floor.
- Bring your feet back together and bring your hands up to a prayer position.
- Push your hands out in front of you with your thumbs and first finger tips touching, making the sign of the three stages of learning.
- Drop your hands into a covered weapon position, your right hand a first and your left over.
- With your hands in this position drop them down below your belt.
- Step out to your left, legs straight and shoulder width apart and punch down with both hands together towards the floor.
- Close into an attention stance and bow.
